TIFGranted was founded in 1987 by John Dirven.
The music is a rough variant of blues-rock as played by Gallagher and Hendrix. In 1989 Netty Driessen joined the band. John and Netty proved to be a good match for writing songs in the years to come. Completed with a drummer, at that moment Rob Snijders, or Iwan Wijnen, this band feels most comfortable in the trio configuration. They recorded 7 albums of which 6 were created in their own studio. Being self-willed, all activities regarding the production and release of the TIFGranted albums were executed by John and Netty.

Autonomy is the keyword. Not distracted by commercial considerations Netty and John worked on their albums with quality in mind. Blues-rock is a broad and often explored field in music. TIFGranted's main goal is to make a variant that stretches the borders of this category, to avoid all clichés. And with succes! Their albums always get great reviews in the Dutch, Belgium and German press.
